Product Description
The INDRAMAT MDD Digital AC servo motors are ultra-modern devices with extensive functionality. They are designed to deliver high contouring accuracies at high feed rates. They are also integrated with the INDRAMAT digital drive controllers to produce the most efficient automatization systems. Typical uses of the MDD motors include machine tools, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, transfer facilities, and textile machines.
The MDD112B-N-030-N2M-180PA3 is an MDD motor of frame size 112. It has a peak current of 110.5A and its rotor moment of inertia stands at 120 x 10⁻⁴ kgm2. It also features high dynamics and a high degree of operating reliability. It utilizes digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder as its motor encoder. This is highly beneficial as it ensures that the motor's position is preserved even after a power disconnection. The output shaft of the MDD112B-N-030-N2M-180PA3 is one with a keyway, and it is suited for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. In addition, the motor has a theoretical maximum torque of 64.5Nm and a winding conductance of 3.1mH.
Like other MDD motors, the MDD112B-N-030-N2M-180PA3 can apply its maximum torque across a wide speed range. Also, it is enclosed in a prime black coat and has a 60.0Nm blocking brake that operates via an electrically actuated release. Power connectors can be plugged into Side B of the motor. According to DIN 40 050, it is a product of protection class IP 65; hence, it has complete protection against penetration by external objects or dust particles. Also, it cannot be damaged by water jet sprays. For its proper operation, this motor requires an environment with an ambient temperature of not more than 45°C.
