Product Description
Cost-effective, rapid-response systems result from combining digital AC servo motors like the MDD synchronous servo motors and Indramat digital drive controllers. Drives with these motors are commonly used in food processing and packaging machines, machine tools, and robotics.
The MDD112B-N-030-N2M-130GA1 is a servo motor in the MDD series with a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. Its output shaft is a plain shaft for a non-positive shaft-hub connection without backlash and a shaft sealing ring. This sealing ring prevents fluids from entering the motor through the shaft. The motor has digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder as its feedback system for detecting its absolute indirect position. It functions with high-level precision as it uses optical measurement and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. The data memory of the encoder stores motor parameters like the type name and control loop parameters, decreasing its startup time and aiding its safe adaptation to the drive controller.
Because of its compact size, the MDD112B-N-030-N2M-130GA1 has a high power-to-weight ratio and can be installed in any position. Pinions and belt pulleys can be directly attached to its shaft since it allows the application of high radial loads. Like other MDD models, this motor has a sealed housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 in line with DIN 40050. This indicates that it is dustproof, touch-proof, and safe from the penetration of water jet sprays from different directions. It also belongs to Balance Class N per DIN VDE 0530, meaning it is suitable for normal applications. However, it is best suited for applications like grinding machines where excellent precision and synchronism are required.
