Product Description
Drives with the powerful permanent magnet-excited servo motors of the MDD family by Bosch Rexroth have several applications. These include machine tools, textile machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities. Among other things, the compact servo motors provide exceptional contouring accuracies at high feed rates.
The MDD112B-N-030-N2L-180PA0 is one of the synchronous servo motors in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It has a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and a centering diameter of 180mm. Its motor feedback type is digital servo feedback, which detects its relative indirect position. The system accuracy of this encoder is ±0.5 angular seconds, and it works with the precise optical measurement method. There is also a data memory feature in the encoder that stores relevant parameters like the motor’s type name. It ensures the rapid bootup of the motor and its risk-free adjustment to its drive controller. This MDD model is cooled by natural convection and surface cooling; hence, it is ideal for extreme loads.
Heat is efficiently dissipated from the stator windings of the MDD112B-N-030-N2L-180PA0 to the outside walls of its housing, giving it a high overload capability. It also has a thermal sensor in its stator windings to monitor its temperature and protect it from damage caused by thermal overload. Its rotor is composed of permanent magnets made from rare earth and iron oxide materials, giving the motor low inertia. This model’s centering diameter is 180mm, and its theoretical maximum torque is 64.5Nm. It is equipped with an output shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885 and a protective shaft sealing ring that prevents fluids from entering the motor through the shaft.
