Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130PA0 is a digital servo motor. In combination with a drive controller, it forms a powerful and reliable servo system. MDD motors are typically deployed for industrial applications that include robotics, textiles, tools, printing and packaging machines. The MDD product line includes nine different motor series with different continuous output torques and speeds. MDD112 motors provide a high degree of synchronism and are therefore suited to applications that require high precision. Digital MDD servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors and support electronic commutation. The permanent magnets are made of rare-earth or iron oxide, which makes it possible to construct motors with low inertia. The MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130PA0 is a motor with a rated nominal speed of 3000 RPM. It has a housing that is suited to surface cooing and natural convection.
Surface cooling requires a cooling fan and provides improved heat dissipation. For this reason, surface cooling enables the motor to operate at higher levels of output current and torque. The continuous output torque is 21.4 Nm with surface cooling and 17.5 Nm with natural convection. The continuous output current at standstill is 34.3 Amps with surface cooling and 28 Amps with natural convection. The MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130PA0 motor is not equipped with a blocking brake. It total weight is approximately 36 kilograms. The thermal time constant also varies with cooling method: it is 60 minutes with surface cooling and 90 minutes with natural convection. The power for the motor is supplied by a drive controller. The power cable that connects the motor and controller terminates on a power socket located on side A of the motor housing. The MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130PA0 also supports digital servo feedback.
