Product Description
A high overload capacity and impressive synchronous operation are some notable features of the MDD motors by Bosch Rexroth. Drives with these permanent magnet-excited motors have numerous applications, including robotics, handling equipment, and food processing and packaging machines.
The MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130GB1 is an MDD servo motor with low inertia and a torque-inertia ratio suitable for highly dynamic operations. It has a brushless design with lifetime-lubricated bearings to ensure its maintenance-free operation and operational reliability. Its bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours and a design that permits the application of high radial loads. This is why pinions and belt pulleys can be directly attached to the shaft. The MDD model accommodates a maximum current of 110.5A and can attain a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. Its compact build aids its space-conserving installation and grants it a high power-to-weight ratio, meaning users can expect high torque and power levels in a small package.
Ready-made cables are used for connections in the MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130GB1 to simplify its installation. It also has a plain output shaft that provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Because it belongs to Balance Class N per DIN VDE 0530, it supports normal applications. Like other motors in the series, this MDD model has electronic commutation, making it ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies. Digital servo feedback is the encoder option for evaluating the motor’s relative indirect position. It transfers the information obtained to the intelligent drive and obviates the use of separate incremental encoders. There is also a data memory in this encoder where relevant motor parameters are stored to accelerate its start-up.
