Product Description
Digital AC servo motors, such as those in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth, can form rapid-response automation systems. To achieve this, they are combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat. Their applications cover machine tools, textile machines, and robotics.
The MDD112B-N-020-N2M-130GA0 is one of the Bosch Rexroth MDD servo motors. It has a centering diameter of 130mm and a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute. As a product of Balance Class N per DIN VDE 0530, it is suitable for normal applications. This model is particularly built for high-precision applications where excellent synchronism is required. Its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings allow it to be operated maintenance-free. Its bearings have a nominal lifetime of 30,000 operating hours. The compact build of this MDD motor gives it a high power-to-weight ratio and allows its installation in any position. It also allows the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft since its design supports the application of high radial loads.
To detect its absolute indirect position, the MDD112B-N-020-N2M-130GA0 is equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder. This encoder’s system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes, and it uses the optical measuring principle to ensure high precision. It also stores the information obtained even after power is shut off and replaces separate incremental encoders. The motor has a thermal sensor in its stator windings to monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to thermal overload. Heat is also efficiently eliminated from this stator to the external walls of its housing, giving it high overload capabilities. Its housing coat is a black prime varnish resistant to dilute acids and lyes.
