Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for manufacturing safe and reliable products, and one of such products is the MDD digital AC servo motors. These motors are designed to be used with intelligent IndraDrive controllers by Bosch Rexroth to offer cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality. MDD motors guarantee high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, primarily when used for cutting in high-speed ranges. There are nine motors in the MDD series, all of which have specific advantages for whatever function they are designed for. The digital MDD AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation with the magnet obtained from rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials.
The MDD112B-L-030-N2M-130GA1 is equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder which permits an absolute indirect position detection on the motor. It is equipped with a 14.0 Nm blocking brake for a backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is powered off. It has a nominal speed of 3000 rpm and is suitable for high precision operations where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, such as in grinding machines.
The housing of the MDD112B-L-030-N2M-130GA1 is designed for surface cooling, allowing it to be used for continuous start-stop operations with a high level of repetitive frequency. The housing design is standard in construction and in accordance with the guidelines of the DIN 40050. It protects the motor against contact with high voltage with motor parts either moving or alive, the penetration by extrinsic objects, and the penetration of water from different directions. The housing varnish is a prime black coating resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, diluted acids, and lyes.
