Product Description
High operational reliability, a sensitive temperature monitoring system, and compact construction are some of the features of the MDD motors. These efficient servo motors are designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for various applications, including machine tools, handling equipment, food processing and packaging machines, and printing and paper-processing machines
The MDD112A-N-030-N2L-130GB0 is a model of the Bosch Rexroth MDD servo motors. It is built for high-precision applications where an advanced level of synchronism is required, such as grinding machines. Its encoder system is digital servo feedback, and it detects the relative indirect position of the motor. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and uses the optical method to perform its function. Its data storage capability ensures that the motor boots up rapidly and safely adapts to its drive controller. An added benefit of the encoder is that it eliminates the need for the use of a separate incremental encoder with this motor.
Built with permanent magnets made from rare earth and iron oxide materials, the rotor of the MDD112A-N-030-N2L-130GB0 has a moment of inertia of 61 x 10-4 kgm2. It gives the low motor inertia and hence, a low torque-inertia mass for highly dynamic operations. The centering diameter of this MDD model is 130mm, and it has a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. Its theoretical maximum torque is 31.3Nm, while its peak current rating is 55.3A. With an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, the MDD112A-N-030-N2L-130GB0 cannot be penetrated by solid extrinsic materials or sprays from water jets. Since its housing design is a completely sealed type, it can also be operated under poor environmental conditions.
