The MDD093D-F-015-N2L-110GB0 is a synchronous servo motor in the MDD series with a thermal sensor in its winding to protect it from damage due to thermal overload. It has a rotor whose permanent magnet is composed of rare earth and iron oxide materials, giving it low inertia. It also has a favorable torque-inertia ratio, making it suitable for high dynamics. The MDD model’s nominal speed is 1,500 revolutions per minute, and its centering diameter is 110mm. According to EN 60529, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65, indicating that it cannot be penetrated by solid extrinsic objects or multidirectional water jet sprays. Hence, it is safe for use in adverse environmental conditions. The MDD motor’s brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearing make its maintenance-free operation possible.
Digital servo feedback is the integrated motor feedback option in the MDD093D-F-015-N2L-110GB0. It detects the motor’s relative indirect position and transfers this information to the drive controller. Its optical measurement method allows it to perform its function with high-level precision. This encoder also has a data memory where the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored to accelerate its startup and ensure its safe adaptation to the drive controller. The housing coat of this MDD model is a black prime varnish with excellent resistance to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, and lyes. It is equipped with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring for a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash.
