The MDD093C-N-060-N2M-130GB2 is a servo motor with 6000 RPM speed rating. It is available in a housing with a standard design. The motor housing is fully sealed. The two cable connections on the motor are also fully sealed. The MDD093C-N-060-N2M-130GB2 is an IP65 rated motor that you can use in poor environmental conditions. Ambient conditions specified by Bosch for MDD motors include 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. The ambient temperature specified for motor storage is -20 to 85 degrees Celsius. Protective covers are provided for the connector housing and the output shaft. These covers are made of plastic and protect the parts they cover against moisture and damage. Operators should not remove the protective covers until shortly prior to mounting into the machine. Heavy impacts to the output shaft and heavy loads must be prevented, otherwise the motor bearings could be damaged.

The motor must only be mounted to the machine by fully trained personnel. The motor must be grounded to the drive amplifier. Terminal diagrams provided by Bosch should be followed when wiring the motor. Only approved accessories should be used with the servo motor. The MDD093C-N-060-N2M-130GB2 motor is suited to natural convection and surface cooling. A blower or cooling fan is required for surface cooling. The MDD093C-N-060-N2M-130GB2 motor supports digital servo feedback. It is equipped with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. A blocking brake rated for 22 Nm holding torque is also available. The brake works according to the electrical-release principle and activates on application of 24 Volts DC. The servo motor has a plain output shaft. The socket for the electrical connection is on side B.
