Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD synchronous servo motors are permanent magnet-excited motors with electronic commutation manufactured to meet increasing demands in the global motion industry. They are combined with drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. Their areas of applications include machine tools, textiles machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD093C-N-060-N2M-130GA0 is a model of the MDD AC servo motors specifically suited for highly dynamic operations because of its high power density. It is used in operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines, and tool changing devices. As a product of Balance Class R (reduced) according to DIN VDE 0530, this motor is suitable for demanding applications, such as grinding machines and servo motors in main spindle applications. It is also equipped with a plain shaft for a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque. This output shaft comes with a shaft sealing ring to prevent fluid entry.
With the housing painted with a black prime coating, the MDD093C-N-060-N2M-130GA0 is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-up, diluted acids, and lyes. This housing design gives the motor high overload capabilities as heat is lost via conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing. Its construction meets the requirements of DIN 40 050. This means the MDD motor is safe from the penetration of solid extrinsic objects and water jet sprays. The housing is completely sealed, allowing it to function with minimal risks in poor environmental conditions. Thanks to its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearing, the motor can be operated maintenance-free. Its bearing has a nominal lifetime of 30,000 operating hours.
