Product Description
The MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110PB0 is a MDD series industrial servo motor. It is designed and developed by Bosch Rexroth. The motor has a housing that is suited to both natural convection and surface cooling. Both of these cooling methods rely on flow of air over the operating motor body for heat dissipation. With surface cooling the air flow is created by a fan or a blower. The motor can deliver higher levels of output torque and current with surface cooling. Nominal speed of the motor is 6000 RPM. The continuous torque at standstill is 19.5 Nm with natural convection and 28 Nm with surface cooling. The continuous current at standstill is 65.2 Amps with natural convection and 93.6 Amps with surface cooling. The thermal time constant is 50 minutes with natural convection and 45 minutes with surface cooling.
The MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110PB0 motor is supplied without a blocking brake and weighs 22 kilograms. It gets power from a drive controller. The cable carrying the power connects to a socket on side B of the motor. The main shaft on the MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110PB0 motor features a keyway according to DIN 6885-1. The purpose of the keyway is to prevent relative rotation of the shaft, and thus ensure torque transfer to the connected machine. Centering diameter of the motor is 110 millimeters. The MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110PB0 also supports digital servo feedback. Performance data for the motor that is specified in the product documentation is valid for recommended ambient conditions. These recommended conditions include 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters elevation above sea level. The motor must be handled by trained personnel. Only qualified personnel should be allowed to operate it.
