Product Description
The MDD digital AC servo motors are advanced and innovative motors manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. They are motors with extensive functionality and are therefore the optimum solution for just about any application. These motors are combined with drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. Their areas of applications include machine tools, textiles machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110GB0 is a model of the MDD AC servo motors specifically suited for highly dynamic operations because of its very high power density. It is used in operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines, and tool changing devices. It also has a compact design and hence a high power to weight ratio. The motor’s installation is simple as it can be done at any desired position. It is a permanent magnet excited synchronous motor with electronic commutation. Hence, it has a high cyclic load capacity that permits continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.
The integrated encoder of the MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110GB0 is digital servo feedback that uses the optical measurement method. This feedback permits relative indirect position detection on the motor. The motor is equipped with a plain shaft for non-positive shaft-hub connections. It belongs to Balance class R according to DIN VDE 0530; hence it can be used for more demanding operations and servo motors in main spindle applications. The motor is protected by its housing which is designed according to DIN 40050. It protects against contact to high voltage with motor parts, either moving or alive, the penetration of extrinsic objects, and the penetration of water. Its protection rating is, therefore, IP 65.
