Product Description
High power density and a compact build are some of the features that distinguish the MDD servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. These synchronous servo motors with low inertia create economic, rapid-response automation systems when combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat.
The MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110GA0 is a model of the permanent magnet-excited servo motors in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. One of its features is electronic commutation, which gives it a high cyclic load capacity, making it ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The motor’s nominal speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a theoretical maximum torque of 60.6Nm. It features digital servo feedback for detecting the relative indirect position of the motor and storing it in its intelligent digital drive. This encoder system works with the optical method and has a ±0.5 angular minutes system accuracy. It also eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder with the motor.
A thermal sensor is built into the stator windings of the MDD093C-N-060-N2L-110GA0 to prevent damage caused by thermal overload. Hence, it has a high overload capability. Its housing also supports cooling by natural convection and surface cooling. This MDD model is a product of protection category IP 65 according to EN 60529, indicating that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and safe from water jet sprays from all directions. It uses a plain output shaft to achieve a backlash-free and non-positive torque transmission and has a shaft sealing ring to prevent the motor from being penetrated by fluids through the shaft. Additionally, its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings of 30,000 operating hours lifetime make it ideal for a maintenance-free operation.
