Product Description
MDD093C-N-030-N2M-110PB2 is a Bosch servo motor. It is designed to deliver maximum 3000 RPM shaft speed. The motor housing supports two cooling methods: convection cooling and forced air cooling. Convection cooling is an efficient and cost-effective method for motor cooling. Forced-air cooling provides better heat dissipation but requires a cooling fan which adds to the solution cost. The MDD093C-N-030-N2M-110PB2 motor provides higher levels of output torque with forced air cooling. The output torque at standstill is 19.5 Nm with convection cooling and 20.8 Nm with forced air cooling. The output current at standstill is 32.2 Amps with convection cooling and 34.3 Amps with forced air cooling. The motor is fitted with a 22 Nm blocking brake. This brake is a safety device designed to prevent accidental shaft rotation.
The brake only releases the shaft after application of a 24 Volts DC signal. Operators can order MDD motors with plain shafts or with shafts that have a keyway. The shaft on the MDD093C-N-030-N2M-110PB2 motor includes a keyway which helps to prevent relative rotation between the shaft and the connected machine. The seal on the motor shaft helps to prevent dust and moisture ingress. Bosch provides six types of encoders for MDD motors. Operators can select from one of three types of single turn and multiturn encoders. The encoder installed on the servo motor is a multiturn encoder that enables digital servo feedback. Protection category of the servo motor is IP65. Centering diameter of the servo motor is 110 meters. The motor is flange mounted device. Holes on the motor flange allow secure mounting. Trained and qualified technical personnel should handle and operate the motor and associated equipment.
