Product Description
Combine the servo motors of the MDD series with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat and the result is a cost-effective, rapid-response automation system. Drives with the high-performance motors are typically used in machine tools, robotics, food packaging and processing machines, robotics, and textile machines.
The MDD093C-N-030-N2M-110PB0 is a synchronous servo motor in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It has a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring to provide a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder detects the motor’s absolute indirect position. This encoder’s system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes, and it functions with impressive precision as its measuring principle is optical. It also has a data memory where parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored. The benefit of this feature is a reduced start-up time for the motor and safe adaptation to its drive controller. In addition, it can be used to evaluate the relative direct position.
A thermal sensor is integrated in the stator windings of the MDD093C-N-030-N2M-110PB0. Hence, it is kept safe from permanent damage due to thermal overload. It is coated with a black prime varnish with impressive resistance to yellowing, chalky buildups, lyes, and weathering. The motor’s housing belongs to the IP 65 product category according to DIN 40 050, indicating it is impervious to solid extrinsic objects and water. Its brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout its service life permit its maintenance-free operation, granting it high operational reliability. The MDD model’s nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and it generates a theoretical maximum torque of 60.6Nm.
