Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s reliability is the result of its dedication to delivering high-quality drive and motion control units. Its MDD synchronous servo motors are compact and powerful units that provide optimal and cost-effective solutions for different automation challenges.
The MDD093C-N-030-N2M-110GB1 is a servo motor in the MDD series with a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. It has digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder for position detection and speed control. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and evaluates the motor’s absolute indirect position. It also comes with a data memory where it stores the motor type name and control loop parameters, ensuring its rapid startup and its risk-free adaptation to the drive controller. The centering diameter of this MDD model is 110mm, and it generates a theoretical maximum torque of 60.6Nm. It also tolerates a peak current of 145.0A and has a rotor moment of inertia of 42 x 10-4 kgm2.
Heat elimination during the operation of the MDD093C-N-030-N2M-110GB1 is via natural convection and surface cooling, making it suitable for extreme loads. It has a thermal sensor built into its stator for temperature monitoring to prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload. With its sealed housing, the use of the motor in harsh environmental conditions poses minimal risks. It also has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 in line with DIN 40 050 as it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to water jet sprays. Because of its high power density, the MDD model is best suited for highly dynamic operations like roller feeds for punching, pressing, and nibbling machines, and tool changing devices.
