Product Description
The MDD Digital AC Servo motors from Bosch Rexroth are used in conjunction with intelligent Rexroth Indradrive systems to create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. They are well suited for industries like printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities. The motors promise high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, especially when used in cutting high-speed ranges. There are nine motors in the MDD Servo motor series with varying torques and speeds for various applications.
The MDD093C-N-030-N2L-130GB0 is particularly suited for highly dynamic operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tool changing devices because of its very high power density. It is equipped with a plain shaft which allows a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque, thus converting energy from the motor into the required use. Its motor feedback is Digital Servo Feedback for the relative evaluation of position and speed. This motor feedback has data storage capacities in which the motor’s parameters are stored.
The housing of the MDD093C-N-030-N2L-130GB0 is painted with a black prime coating that is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, diluted acids, and lyes. An additional layer of paint coat can be added to the housing if necessary. The housing is completely sealed, allowing it to function in poor environmental conditions. The brushless design of the motor allows for a maintenance-free operation, thereby giving it a high degree of operational reliability. It also has an inbuilt temperature sensor that prevents overload damage. Its protection class is IP 65 according to DIN 400 50; hence motor is protected against the penetration of dust, complete protection against penetration by extrinsic objects, and water penetration.
