The MDD093C-N-030-N2L-130GA0 is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s MDD synchronous servo motors. It features digital servo feedback as its integrated encoder system for evaluating the motor’s relative indirect position. This encoder’s system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes, and it uses the optical method to ensure excellent precision. The servo motor is compact and has a high power density that supports dynamic applications like tool-changing devices and roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines. Based on the guidelines in DIN 40 050, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65. This is because it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impenetrable by water jet sprays from different directions. Its sealed housing design also allows its safe use in harsh environmental conditions.

Like other servo motors in the MDD series, the MDD093C-N-030-N2L-130GA0 is equipped with a thermal sensor in its stator windings to protect it from damage due to thermal overload. It is cooled via natural convection and surface cooling and has a high overload capability since heat is efficiently eliminated from its stator windings. The motor’s nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, while its centering diameter is 130mm. It features a plain output shaft that provides a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of torque.
