The Bosch Rexroth MDD093C-N-030-N2L-110PB1 is a servo motor. Bosch has designed the motor for industrial applications. MDD motor are in general suited to applications such as robotics, handling equipment and transfer facilities. A major benefit of MDD motors is maintenance-free operation, which is made possible by a brushless design and bearings with life-time lubrication. Because of their high power density, MDD093 motors are specially suited to highly-dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines as well as tool changing devices. The MDD093C-N-030-N2L-110PB1 is an IP65 rated motor that is dustproof. It delivers 19.5 Nm continuous torque with natural convection and 20.8 Nm continuous torque with surface cooling. The continuous current at standstill is 32.2 Amps with natural convection and 34.3 Amps with surface cooling. The theoretical maximum torque is 60.6 Nm and the peak current is 145 Amps. The motor is equipped with an electrically-actuated blocking brake.

The blocking brake makes it possible to clamp or hold the output shaft at a standstill. This means that the axis comes to a safe standstill when power is off. Holding torque of the brake is 11 Nm. The motor housing has a standard design. Operators can use natural convection or surface cooling for dissipation of heat generated during operation. The recommended ambient temperature is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Output of the motor derates outside this temperature range. The MDD093C-N-030-N2L-110PB1 motor as a rated speed of 3000 RPM. Balance class of the motor is standard. The shaft B end is standard. A keyway on the shaft complies with DIN 6885-1.
