Product Description
Many features distinguish the MDD synchronous servo motors created by Bosch Rexroth. These include their compact and brushless design, high power-to-weight ratio and flexibility. They also have high operational reliability and form rapid-response systems when combined with the intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat.
The MDD093C-N-020-N2M-130GA0 is one of the powerful servo motors in the MDD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a rotor whose permanent magnets are composed of special materials that give it low inertia. This rotor’s moment of inertia is 42 x 10-4 kgm2. The motor’s sealed housing allows its use under adverse environmental conditions without the risk of damage. Based on the DIN 40 050 guidelines, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 as it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to water jet sprays. Its housing is coated with a black prime varnish which protects it from yellowing, weathering, chalky buildup, lyes, and dilute acids. The servo motor is dynamically balanced in terms of Balance Class R according to DIN VDE 0530.
Natural convection and surface cooling are the ideal cooling mechanisms for the MDD093C-N-020-N2M-130GA0. It has electronic commutation, a feature that grants it a high cyclic load capacity and makes it suitable for applications like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. With its plain output shaft, a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash can be achieved. This shaft has a sealing ring that keeps fluids from entering the motor through the shaft. The MDD model’s motor feedback system is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. It uses the optical measurement method for impressive precision and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes.
