Product Description
Bosch Rexroth designed its MDD servo motors with a compact build, which gives them a high power-to-weight ratio. Drives with the servo motors are typically used in food processing and packaging machines, textile machines, printing machines, robotics, and machine tools.
The MDD093C-L-030-N2M-110GA2 is one of the compact synchronous servo motors in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It utilizes surface cooling for heat elimination; hence, it is ideal for extreme loads. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute and it belongs to Balance Class R per DIN VDE 0530. Digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder is the motor’s feedback system, and it evaluates its absolute indirect position. Since the encoder uses the optical measurement method, high-level precision is guaranteed. It also has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and maintains the absolute position of the axis even after power is disconnected. Its data memory stores information that aids the motor’s safe adjustment to its drive controller and accelerates its startup.
A plain shaft provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash in the MDD093C-L-030-N2M-110GA2. The shaft is equipped with a standard shaft sealing ring whose primary function is to prevent fluid entry into the motor through the shaft. Thanks to the blocking brake of 22.0Nm torque, there is a backlash-free holding of the servo axis when the machine is powered off. This MDD model also allows maintenance-free operation with its brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. It has a high power density; hence, it is suitable for highly dynamic operations like roller feeds for punching, pressing, and nibbling machines and tool changing devices.
