Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s steady growth through the years is the result of its commitment to creating high-performance products. It is the brain behind the MDD servo motors, notable for their compact build and versatility. Their applications include robotics, textile machines, and machine tools.
The MDD093C-L-030-N2M-110GA1 is a synchronous servo motor in Bosch Rexroth’s MDD series. It allows pinions and belt pulleys to be directly attached to its shaft; hence, it permits the application of high radial loads. This shaft is the plain type, and it provides a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection. Like other MDD servo motors, this model has a temperature sensor in its stator to monitor its temperature and avert damage due to thermal overload. It is also cooled by surface cooling and supports extreme loads. With its brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life, the motor can be operated maintenance-free. These bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours.
Thanks to its high power density, the MDD093C-L-030-N2M-110GA1 is ideal for highly dynamic operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines, and tool-changing devices. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a theoretical maximum torque of 60.6Nm. It also features a rotor with a moment of inertia of 42 x 10-4 kgm2. The motor is equipped with a blocking brake of 11.0Nm torque for a backlash-free holding of the servo axes when it is powered off. Its digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder evaluates its absolute indirect position and stores it in the digital drive. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes.
