The Bosch Rexroth MDD093B-N-060-N2M-110GB2 is a MDD series industrial servo motor. MDD motors, in combination with servo drives, are well suited to use in printing machines, robotics, transfer facilities and textiles. The MDD product line includes nine series of servo motors with varying speed and torque output. Due to very high power density, motors from the MDD093 series are suited to use in nibbling machines and tool changing devices. Performance specifications for the MDD093B-N-060-N2M-110GB2 motor include 6000 RPM nominal speed, 14.5 N continuous torque at standstill, 46.7 Amps continuous current at standstill, 45.1 Nm maximum torque and 210.3 Amps maximum current. The motor supports natural convection and surface cooling. With surface cooling the continuous torque and current ratings are 20 Nm and 64.5 Amps respectively. The thermal time constant for the motor also depends on the cooling method.

As a result the motor supports digital servo feedback. The encoder measures motor speed, position and other parameters. The motor sends these measurements to the drive controller. The drive controller uses these measurements to adjust its output to control motor parameters. The main shaft on the motor is plain. Bosch also provides shafts with keyway for MDD motors. The blocking brake on the motor is rated for 22 Nm holding torque. Centering diameter of the servo motor is 110 millimeters. The power socket is on side B of the servo motor housing.
