Product Description
Digital AC servo motors by Bosch Rexroth are designed to form cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems when they are combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat. The MDD servo motors are a group of these motors typically used in machine tools, robotics, and textile machines.
The MDD093B-N-060-N2L-110GB0 is one of the digital AC servo motors in the MDD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features digital servo feedback as its integrated encoder system for evaluating its relative indirect position. This encoder has a data memory where the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored to quicken its start-up and ensure that it adapts safely to the drive controller. This encoder uses the optical measurement principle and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. The nominal speed of this MDD model is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and its theoretical maximum torque is 45.1Nm. At 20oC, its winding resistance is 0.11 Ohm, while its torque constant is 0.31 Nm/A.
An IP-65 rated housing per EN 60529 encloses the MDD093B-N-060-N2L-110GB0 and protects it from damage since it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impenetrable to multidirectional water jet sprays. The motor is fitted with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring for a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. It also has a thermal sensor in its stator windings that monitors its temperature and prevents irreversible damage caused by thermal overload. Its cooling methods are natural convection and surface cooling; hence, it can accommodate extreme loads such as continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The permissible ambient temperature range for its operation is from 0oC to 45oC.
