Product Description
The MDD Digital AC servo motors are versatile motors constructed by INDRAMAT. They are designed for highly dynamic and high-precision applications. In conjunction with digital drive controllers made by INDRAMAT, they produce economical and fast-response automatization systems. The MDD motors present varying continuous torques and are used in machine tools, textile machines, handling equipment, transfer facilities, and printing and packaging machines.
The MDD093B-N-040-N2M-130PA0 is an MDD motor with a motor frame size of 093. It is constructed with permanent magnets made of rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials; hence it has low inertia. It also features high operational reliability and a high power-to-weight ratio. The motor weighs 16.5kg and has a theoretical maximum torque of 45.1N/m. It has an output shaft with a keyway per DIN 6885, suitable for lesser demands and enables a form-fitting torque transmission. The output shaft is also sealed to prevent the penetration of any liquid. The motor encoder present on this motor is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder, and it records the absolute indirect position of the motor.
The housing design of the MDD093B-N-040-N2M-130PA0 is standard; thus, the ideal cooling methods are natural convection and surface cooling. This motor has a centering diameter of 130mm and is a product of balance class R per DIN VDE 0530. It has a nominal motor speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute and a winding inductivity of 1.9mH. Also, its rotor moment of inertia stands at 29 x 10-4 kgm2, and power connectors can be plugged to its side A. It is also painted with a black prime varnish which is resistant to weathering and diluted acids.
