Product Description
All drive and motion control products by Bosch Rexroth share qualities like durability and functionality. The same applies to the MDD digital AC servo motors by the automation giant.
The MDD093B-N-040-N2L-110GB2 is a model of the MDD synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its installation is simplified by its design which allows the application of high radial loads. Such a design ensures that pinions and belt pulleys can be directly attached to the motor’s shaft. This MDD motor model has a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring and ensures a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Its sealing ring prevents the leakage of fluids like oils and grease into the motor, elongating its service life and preventing environmental pollution. The Ingress Protection rating of the housing of this servo motor is IP 65 per DIN 40 050. It is also coated with a black prime varnish that prevents damage by weathering, chalky buildup, lyes, and yellowing.
Relative position detection in the MDD093B-N-040-N2L-110GB2 is via digital servo feedback. The precise encoder system uses the optical measuring principle to ensure high-level precision and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. It promotes the motor’s rapid startup since its parameters are stored in its data memory and are set on startup. There is a blocking brake with a torque of 22.0Nm in this servo motor to hold its servo axis when the machine is powered off. It also has a thermal sensor in its stator for monitoring its temperature and preventing permanent damage due to thermal overload. This MDD servo motor reaches a nominal speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute.
