Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD synchronous servo motors are designed to suit applications like textile machines, printing and paper processing machines, and handling equipment. They are also used in the creation of rapid-response automation systems with Indramat digital drive controllers.
The MDD093B-N-030-N2M-110GA0 is an MDD servo motor with a rotor moment of inertia of 29 x 10-4 kgm2. This rotor’s permanent magnets are composed of special materials that give the motor low inertia. Like other MDD motors, this model features a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings for maintenance-free operation. It is also fitted with a plain output shaft that gives a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. The shaft sealing ring prevents the entry of fluids through the shaft, giving the motor an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 in line with DIN 40 050. This protection rating and the motor’s sealed housing also permit its use in harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage.
Digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder monitors the absolute indirect position of the MDD093B-N-030-N2M-110GA0. The encoder’s system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes, while its detection range is 4,096 motor revolutions. It also uses the optical measurement method to provide high-level precision. This MDD motor’s nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute and it generates a theoretical maximum torque of 45.1Nm. Based on its high power density, it is well-suited for tool-changing devices and roller feeds for punching, pressing and nibbling machines. Heat elimination in this servo motor is achieved via natural convection and surface cooling; hence, it can accommodate extreme loads. The ideal ambient temperature at its site of operation should be maintained between 0oC and 40oC.
