Product Description
The MDD synchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth are permanent magnet-excited with electronic commutation. Their permanent magnets are made of rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials and the electronic commutation gives them a high cyclic load capacity. There are nine motors in this motor series with specific advantages for application-specific functions. They can be combined with drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. These motors are used in machine tools, textiles machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The motor feedback of the MDD093B-N-030-N2L-130PB1 is digital servo feedback used to evaluate the position and speed of the motor and to detect the rotor position. This feedback system uses the optical measurement method and thus has a high degree of precision. It also has a data memory for reading and storing the motor's data to quicken its startup. This motor has a standard housing design that supports heat elimination via natural convection and surface cooling. It has a high overload capability due to efficient heat conduction from the stator windings.
Characterized by a high power density, the MDD093B-N-030-N2L-130PB1 is well-suited for highly dynamic operations. It is employed in operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines, and tool-changing devices. This motor has a compact design that gives it a high power-to-weight ratio. Its form-fitting shaft hub connections are achieved with the output shaft with a keyway. It also has an 11.0Nm blocking brake. Its nominal speed is 3000 rpm, while its centering diameter is 130mm. The motor housing is painted with a black prime coating with resistance to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes.
