Product Description
One impressive feature of the MDD synchronous servo motors by Bosch Rexroth is their ability to provide high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, especially when used for cutting in high speed ranges. Their common applications include machine tools and robotics.
The MDD093B-N-030-N2L-110PB1 is a synchronous servo motor of the MDD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has digital servo feedback as its motor feedback option for detecting its relative indirect position. With the optical method as its measurement system, this encoder functions with excellent precision. It also has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and has a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored. The data memory ensures its quick startup and its risk-free adaptation to the drive controller. Like other MDD models, the servo motor has a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings that permit its maintenance-free operation.
Thanks to electronic commutation, the MDD093B-N-030-N2L-110PB1 has a high cyclic load capacity. Hence, it supports continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, while its theoretical maximum torque is 45.1Nm. The motor has a high power-to-weight ratio due to its compact construction and impressive torque-inertia ratio. It is rated IP 65 in line with DIN 40050 because of its sealed housing. This housing does not allow the entry of solid extrinsic objects or multidirectional water jet sprays. As a result, it can be safely operated under harsh environmental conditions. The output shaft in this MDD motor model is the type with a keyway per DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting torque transmission and a shaft sealing ring to prevent fluids from entering through the shaft.
