Product Description
MDD motors are flexible and cost-effective components of rapid-response automation systems built by combining with Indramat digital drive controllers. Their design permits the application of high radial loads and the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft.
The MDD093B-N-030-N2L-110GA2 is an MDD motor whose digital servo feedback system uses the optical measurement principle. Hence, it provides high resolution in detecting the motor’s relative indirect position and functions at high speeds. This encoder’s system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes, and it features a data storage for filing the motor’s parameters, aiding its rapid response. The brushless design of the servo motor and its lifetime-lubricated bearings permit its maintenance-free operation. It also reaches a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and has a centering diameter of 110mm. With its compact size, it has a high power-to-weight ratio and ensures improved energy efficiency with improved precision.
Natural convection and surface cooling are the permitted methods of heat elimination from the MDD093B-N-030-N2L-110GA2. Heat is also eliminated from its stator by conduction, making it ideal for applications that require a high dynamic response. Electronic commutation in the MDD model ensures its rotor’s smooth rotation and gives it a high cyclic load capacity. It is also suitable for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition frequencies. Like other models in this series, it features a sealed housing coated with a black prime varnish. This coat protects it against the harmful effects of yellowing, weathering, chalky buildup, and lyes. Its plain output shaft has a sealing ring that prevents fluids from entering the motor. It also meets the requirements of the IP 65 Ingress Protection category.
