Product Description
Robotics, printing and packaging machines, and handling equipment are some of the applications of Bosch Rexroth’s MDD servo motors. These synchronous servo motors are essential components of rapid-response automation systems, formed when they are combined with Indramat digital drive controllers. They are available in different sizes, speeds, and torques.
The MDD093B-N-020-N2L-130GB1 is an MDD servo motor model by Bosch Rexroth. Because of its high power density, it is suitable for highly dynamic operations, including roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling devices, and tool changing devices. The motor’s nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a theoretical maximum torque of 45.1Nm. According to DIN VDE 0530, it belongs to Balance Class R; hence, it supports highly demanding operations. With its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings, its maintenance-free operation is possible. The bearings support high radial loads and the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft.
Digital servo feedback is the feedback option of the MDD093B-N-020-N2L-130GB1, and it ensures the evaluation of the motor’s relative indirect position. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and uses the optical measuring principle. It also features a data storage for filing the motor’s parameters. That way, the motor can be booted up rapidly with these parameters set in the drive. It also enhances the motor’s safe adaptation to its drive controller. A temperature sensor is built into this motor’s windings, and it prevents the thermal overload of the motor. Based on its housing design, it utilizes natural convection and surface cooling for heat dissipation. The housing also has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529.
