Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has become a synonym for excellent drive and motion control products to many users across the world. Its MDD servo motors are built with different speeds and torques to accommodate a wide range of applications. These applications include textile machines and robotics.
The MDD093B-N-020-N2L-130GB0 is a model of the MDD servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features a sensor in its stator windings to monitor its temperature and protect it from damage due to thermal overload. Its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a maximum torque of 45.1Nm. This MDD model has a housing design that supports cooling by natural convection and surface cooling, allowing it to support extreme loads. The housing is sealed and prevents the penetration of dust and multidirectional water jet sprays; hence, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65, according to DIN 40 050. It can also be operated under harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage.
Digital servo feedback in the MDD093B-N-020-N2L-130GB0 uses the optical measurement method to evaluate the motor’s relative indirect position. It has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder. The servo motor’s output shaft is the plain type that ensures a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Its compact size gives it a high power-to-weight ratio and aids its easy installation. It also features a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings to ensure maintenance-free operation. Thanks to its black prime coat, the motor is protected from the potentially harmful effects of weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, and lyes. Its recommended maximum ambient temperature for operation is 45oC.
