Product Description
Bosch Rexroth designs and manufactures factory automation products widely used in the global drive and motion industry. The MDD digital AC servo motors by Bosch Rexroth are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. They have extensive functionality and can be used for just about any application. Together with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat, the MDD digital AC servo motors create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems.
The MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110PB2 has a high power density which makes it well-suited for high dynamic operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines. It has an integrated digital servo feedback system for relative indirect position evaluation. The motor feedback has data storage capacities where the motor parameters are stored. This model’s output shaft is a shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. It has a 22.0Nm blocking brake for a backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is disconnected from power. The thermal sensor in the motor’s windings detects potentially damaging temperatures to prevent such damage.
With its standard housing design, the MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110PB2 is suitable for cooling by natural convection. The housing also gives it a high overload capability due to efficient heat conduction. Due to its completely sealed housing, it can be used in the working area of the machine without fear of damage by coolant or emulsions. The motor has a protection rating of IP 65 per EN 60529 and is protected from the penetration of extrinsic objects and water jet sprays. This motor performs optimally at an ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 95%. It should be set up at a maximum height of 1000m.
