Product Description
Rapid-response automation systems are the result of combining the high-performance synchronous servo motors of the MDD series with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat. The MDD servo motors by Bosch Rexroth have a compact build and brushless design that permits their maintenance-free operation.
The MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110PA0 is a synchronous servo motor in the MDD series cooled by natural convection and surface cooling. This makes it an ideal option for applications with extreme loads, as seen in continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies. It also has electronic commutation, a feature that gives it a high overload capacity. The motor is housed in a sealed housing with an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529. This means that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and safe from the penetration of water jets from different directions. It can also be safely operated under harsh environmental conditions. The housing coat is a black prime varnish with high-level resistance against chalky buildup, yellowing, weathering, dilute acids, and lyes.
To precisely determine the motor position and control its speed, the MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110PA0 is equipped with digital servo feedback as its integrated encoder system. This encoder’s system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes, and it performs its function using the optical measuring principle, ensuring high-level precision. It has a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored to quicken its boot-up and improve its risk-free adaptation to its drive controller. The motor’s output shaft is the type with a keyway for form-fitting torque transmission. It also has a shaft sealing ring that prevents fluids from entering the motor through its shaft to cause damage. Its centering diameter is 110mm, while its theoretical maximum torque is 45.1Nm.
