Product Description
The digital drive controllers from Indramat can be combined with digital AC servo motors to build rapid-response automatization systems with applications in robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities. The synchronous servo motors of the MDD series are a class of highly functional AC servo motors that can be used to create these systems. They come in a wide range of frame sizes, speeds, and torques.
The MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110GA2 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor in the MDD series. It is a digital AC servo motor with a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute and a theoretical maximum torque of 45.1Nm. To promote its service life and keep it safe from damage due to thermal overload, the motor is equipped with temperature sensors built into its windings. Its housing supports cooling by natural convection and surface cooling and has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65. This means that the motor is protected from dust and any other solid extrinsic materials, as well as water jets.
The high power density of the MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110GA2 makes it ideal for high-dynamic operations, as seen in tool changing devices and roller feeds for machines used for pressing, punching, and nibbling. It is also constructed with permanent magnets made of rare-earth magnetic materials in its laminated core. This gives it low inertia and a favorable torque-inertia ratio which supports its use for high-dynamic operations. Its centering diameter is 110mm, and its shaft is the standard type for non-positive shaft hub connections. The blocking brake on this model has a 22.0Nm blocking torque for a backlash-free holding of its axis when the machine is not in use.
