Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD servo motors are marked by their compact build and impressive performance. They are digital AC servo motors used to build rapid-response automation systems by combining with Indramat drive controllers. Their typical applications include robotics, textile machines, and machine tools.
The MDD093A-N-060-R2L-110PA0 is an MDD synchronous servo motor with digital servo motor feedback. Its encoder’s system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes, and it detects its relative indirect position. This encoder achieves high-level precision as it uses the optical method to perform its function and eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder. It also has a data memory for storing the motor parameters so that its start-up is accelerated and it adjusts safely to its drive controller. The nominal speed of this MDD servo motor is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a theoretical maximum torque of 28.6Nm. It also has a rotor moment of inertia of 22 x 10-4 kgm2 and bearings with a nominal lifetime of 30,000 operating hours.
Because of the nature of the materials used in the construction of the permanent magnet of the rotors of the MDD093A-N-060-R2L-110PA0, the motor has low inertia. It also has a torque-inertia ratio that favors high dynamics. A thermal sensor is built into its stator windings to monitor its temperature and protect it from thermal overload. It also utilizes surface cooling and natural convection for cooling, giving it high overload capabilities. Its housing is coated in a black prime varnish with high resistance to dilute acids, lyes, weathering, chalky buildup, and yellowing. The Ingress Protection rating of this housing is IP 65, in line with DIN 40 050.
