Product Description
The digital AC servo motors in the MDD series are available in varying degrees of torque and speed, making them suitable for different kinds of applications. When used for cutting in high speed ranges, they guarantee high contouring accuracies at high feed rates. The motors are permanent magnet synchronous motors with low inertia because of the use of rare-earth or iron oxide magnetic materials in the construction of their permanent magnets.
The MDD093A-N-060-N2L-110PR0 is a maintenance-free servo motor in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. Its maintenance-free use is because of its brushless design and its use of bearings that remain lubricated throughout their lifetime of operation. These bearings have a nominal lifespan of 30,000 operating hours. The motor is designed for stationary use under weather-proofed conditions in line with IEC 721-3-3. The ideal ambient temperature at its site of use lies within limits of 0oC and 45oC, while its recommended maximum installation height is 1000m. This motor is cooled by natural convection and supports surface cooling for heat dissipation.
The motor encoder system of the MDD093A-N-060-N2L-110PR0 is digital servo feedback. With this encoder version, the relative indirect position of the motor can be evaluated using the optical method. It has a system accuracy of +/- 0.5 angular minutes and stores the detected relative position in its intelligent digital drive. The motor also has a centering diameter of 110mm and is balanced according to the requirements of balance class N. Its nominal speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute and its theoretical maximum torque is 28.6Nm. The moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.00022kgm2 and its peak current rating is 165.8A.
