Product Description

The MDD093A-N-040-N2L-130GA0 is one of the digital AC servo motors of the MDD series. When combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth, cost-effective and rapid response automation systems are created. It is a permanent magnet excited synchronous motor with electronic commutation, which gives it a high cyclic load capacity for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The permanent magnet is obtained from rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials.

The MDD093A-N-040-N2L-130GA0 is used for highly dynamic operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching, nibbling machines, and tool changing devices because of its very high-power density. Its motor feedback is the digital servo feedback for relative indirect position evaluation of the position of the motor. It is equipped with a plain shaft which allows for a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque. It has a balance class R (reduced) according to DIN VDE 0530, which makes it suitable for more demanding applications such as grinding machines and servo motors in main spindle applications, e.g., power tools in tool turrets of tool machines. The electrical connections of the motor are the power connection and the feedback connection.

The motor is protected by a housing which in construction and design adheres to the DIN 40 050, which protects the motor against contact to high voltage with motor parts either moving or alive, the penetration by extrinsic objects, and the penetration of water. The efficient heat conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing gives it high overload capabilities. The housing is painted in a prime black coating which is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, diluted acids, and lyes.
