Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. Their permanent magnets are made of rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. Due to the electronic commutation, these motors have a high cyclic load capacity for high-frequency applications. They can be combined with drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth to create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. Their typical areas of applications include machine tools, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD093A-N-030-N2L-130GA0 has a high power density, making it suitable for dynamic operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines, and tool changing devices. It has an integrated optical encoder, using digital servo feedback to measure the relative indirect position of the motor and stores it in the intelligent digital drive. The motor is equipped with a plain shaft for a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque. It belongs to Balance Class R as per DIN VDE 0530 and is suitable for demanding operations, such as grinding machines and servo motors in main spindle applications.
Efficient heat conduction from the stator windings of the MDD093A-N-030-N2L-130GA0 gives it a high overload capability. This motor's temperature is monitored by a temperature sensor installed in its windings which prevents damage from thermal overload. Its housing is painted with a black prime coating which is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes. Also, the housing is completely sealed and has a protection rating of IP 65. This means that it is designed to prevent the penetration of solid extrinsic objects and water jet sprays. Hence, it can be safely operated in harsh industrial environments.
