Product Description
Bosch Rexroth MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. As a result of the electronic commutation, these motors have a high cyclic load capacity for high-frequency applications. They are designed to permit high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, particularly when used for cutting in high-speed ranges. Their typical areas of applications include machine tools, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD093A-N-030-N2L-110GA1 is a model of the MDD AC servo motor series characterized by a high power density. Because of this, it is used for highly dynamic operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching, nibbling machines, and tool changing devices. This motor is equipped with a plain shaft for a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque. It has a blocking brake of 11.0Nm that prevents motor movement when disconnected from its power supply. With a balance class R as per DIN VDE 0530, this motor is suitable for demanding operations, as seen in grinding machines and servo motors in main spindle applications.
Motor feedback in the MDD093A-N-030-N2L-110GA1 is achieved through digital servo feedback, and it is for the relative indirect evaluation of the motor’s position. This encoder also has a data memory for reading and storing the motor's data. The construction of this MDD model’s housing meets the requirements of DIN 40 050. It protects the MDD motor against contact with high voltage, the penetration by extrinsic objects, and water jet penetration. The housing design also gives the motor high overload capabilities as heat is lost via conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing.
