Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. This electronic commutation gives them a high cyclic load capacity for high-frequency applications. They can be combined with drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. Their areas of application include machine tools, textiles machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The motor feedback of the MDD093A-F-060-N2L-110GB0 is digital servo feedback used to evaluate the position and speed of the motor and to detect the rotor position. This encoder also has a data memory for reading and storing the motor's data to quicken its startup. The motor is equipped with a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring for backlash-free, non-positive shaft-hub connections. It belongs to Balance Class R according to DIN VDE 0530; hence it can be used for demanding operations and as a servo motor in main spindle applications. The construction of this MDD model’s housing meets the requirements of DIN 40 050. It protects the motor against penetration by solid extrinsic objects and water jets.
Characterized by a high power density, the MDD093A-F-060-N2L-110GB0 is suited for highly dynamic operations. It is used in operations like roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines, and tool changing devices. This motor has a standard housing design that supports heat elimination via natural convection and surface cooling. Temperature monitoring is via a temperature sensor built into its windings to monitor its temperature and prevent overload damage. The housing design also gives it a high overload capability as heat is lost via conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing.
