Product Description
The MDD090C-N-040-N2L-110PA2 digital servo motors are designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The company aims to provide cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems with the combination of MDD digital servo motors and intelligent servo drives by Rexroth Indramat. The MDD090C digital AC servo motor assures a high level of control with the use of a digital servo feedback system. It can produce a continuous torque of 10.4 Nm with a current consumption of 24.4 A at a standstill position. If ordered with surface cooling, it is capable of producing 14.6 Nm consuming 34.3 A of continuous current.
The MDD digital AC servo motor is designed to operate at a maximum velocity of 4,000 revolutions per minute. This naturally aspirated servo motor is designed to suit highly dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing and nibbling machines. The theoretical maximum torque promised by this model is measured to be 58.6 Nm with 145.7 A of current consumption. The torque constant at 20 oC temperature is 0.43 Nm/A with a winding resistance of 0.29 Ohm. The ‘N’ in the type code denotes its design optimization for natural convection. Therefore, it should be exposed to surrounding air for surface cooling.
The AC motor comes with a standard shaft (without side B end) and 23 kg weight. Owing to its weight, it must be handled with extreme care and mounted securely using recommended screw size and tightening torque. It comes with a shaft balanced by a keyway. The power connectors are available at the A side of the motor which eliminates the additional effort during installation. Customers can rest assured as these motors are passed through a number of inspection and testing stages.
