The MDD090C-N-030-N2M-130GB2 model is designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth with a 130 mm centering diameter. The model can be attached to the industrial or commercial machinery in any possible mounting position. The MDD090 AC servo motor uses digital servo feedback along with an optical encoder (multiturn absolute) to control the position of the motor output shaft. The motor feedback also assists in controlling the speed of the motor by managing the current supply. A digital intelligent drive controller developed by Rexroth is used to operate this MDD servo motor. The MDD090 AC servo motor can deliver the maximum torque of 56.3 Nm which makes it well-suited for high torque applications such as textile machines, machine tools, and robotics. The MDD servo motor operating at natural cooling mode, delivers the constant torque of 10.4 Nm while consuming the constant current of 19.5 A. The model operating at surface cooling mode produces the continuous torque of 16 Nm while consuming the continuous current of 30 A. After the continuous operation, the model maintains its ambient temperature within 60 min (at natural cooling mode) or 45 min (at surface cooling mode).
The model MDD090C-N-030-N2M-130GB2 comes with a 24 VDC blocking brake that generates the blocking torque of 11 Nm to clamp the servo-axis at standstill. The motor housing is equipped with a plain output shaft for continuous power delivery. The model provided high dynamics when operated according to the mounting and operating conditions mentioned in the MDD user manual. The allowable temperature range for this servo motor is 0 to +45 degree Celsius, without reduction in efficiency.
