Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110PB1 is a MDD series servo motor. It is designed for high-performance industrial applications. The motor has a housing that is suited to natural convection and surface cooling. MDD motors belong to the IP65 protection category. This robustness allows motor use in adverse operating conditions. MDD servo motors are only suited for such extreme demands as is the case with punching, pressing, press feeds and similar applications, if shock-damped mounted or mounted shock decoupled. Technical data detailed in the product documentation are valid for the following ambient conditions: up 1000 meters altitude and 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature. Motor operation outside these limits leads to output derating. If higher ambient temperatures and higher installation elevations occur simultaneously, then the load factors must be multiplied.
The maximum temperature permitted with derated output is 55 degrees Celsius. The maximum altitude permitted with derated output is 5000 meters. Speed rating of the MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110PB1 motor is 3000 RPM. An integrated multiturn encoder enables digital servo feedback. The output shaft includes a keyway that helps to prevent relative rotation. A blocking brake on the MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110PB1 motor is rated for 6.5 Nm holding torque. The main power socket is on side B. Insulation classification of the motor is F. The motor weight is 23 kilograms. A black prime coating (RAL 9005) covers the housing of the MDD motors. An additional layer of paint can cover this prime coat. The thickness of the layer should not exceed 40 millimeters. The coat is resistant to weathering, yellowing and chalky build-ups as well as diluted acids and lyes. The coat can peel if the housing is repeatedly cleaned with a steam cleaner.
