The Bosch Rexroth MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110GA0 is a servo motor from the MDD product line. MDD motors are ideally suited to a wide range of applications including textiles, robotics, tools and packaging machines. MDD motors have a brushless design and are equipped with life-time lubricated bearings. As a results MDD motors offer maintenance-free operation. MDD motors belong to IP65 protection class. Therefore MDD motors can be used directly within the working are of machines and in adverse operating environments. An integrated temperature sensor helps to protect against overload damage. Installation of MDD motors is simple: operator can attach the motors directly to pinions and belt pulleys. Bosch provides a range of ready-made cables, which helps to eliminate any additional installation hassle. The MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110GA0 motor has a plain shaft that is suited to non-positive shaft-hub connections.

The MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110GA0 is also equipped with a digital encoder and supports digital servo feedback. Both the power and the motor feedback cables are directly connected to the motor by means of connectors on the corresponding flanged sockets. Connectors for both of these cables must be ordered separately. Both the cable connectors are fully sealed and dustproof. The power connector is on side A of the housing. Operators can use natural convection or surface cooling to dissipate heat generated during operation. The ambient temperature must not be less than 0 degrees Celsius or more than 45 degrees Celsius. Speed rating of the servo motor is 3000 RPM. The centering diameter is 130 millimeters. MDD motors are flange mounted devices. The motor flange has four mounting holes that allow secure mounting. Only trained personnel should handle and install the servo motor and associated equipment.
