Product Description
When the digital drive controllers designed by Indramat are combined with the powerful servo motors of the MDD series, rapid-response automation systems are formed. These systems are ideal for a variety of applications, including robotics, machine tools, textile machines, printing and paper processing machines, and so on. The MDD motors are also useful for cutting in high-speed ranges.
The MDD090C-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is a permanent magnet-excited motor in the Bosch Rexroth MDD series of synchronous motors. Its rotor’s permanent magnet is made from iron oxide and rare earth materials that ensure the low-inertia construction of the motor. As a result, it has a favorable torque-to–inertia ratio ideal for high dynamics operations. The motor also features thermal sensors in its windings, and it protects it against thermal overload by initiating a shutdown mechanism. All heat generated in the motor is dissipated via natural convection and surface cooling. Its bearings are designed for high radial loads, allowing pinions and belt pulleys to be directly attached to its shaft. These bearings stay lubricated throughout their service life.
With a maximum current of 117.8A and a theoretical maximum torque of 56.3Nm, the nominal speed of the MDD090C-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is 3,000 revolutions per minute. It has digital servo feedback with a data storage feature as its motor feedback. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and uses optical measurement to determine the motor’s speed and position. A shaft with a shaft sealing ring and a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 is the output shaft of this motor. Its centering diameter is 130mm, and it is balanced in terms of balance class R per DIN VDE 0530 for demanding operations.
