Servo motors are one of the most important parts of every drive system used to solve factory automation challenges. The MDD servo motors are designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and can be used to create rapid-response automation systems with the Indramat intelligent drive controllers. Drives with these motors are used in various applications, including robotics, handling and mounting systems, and printing and packaging machines.

The MDD090C-N-030-N2L-130GA2 is a servo motor in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It possesses electronic commutation, a feature that gives the motor a high cyclic load capacity. This makes it suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The nominal speed of the motor is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and it is a product of balance class R according to DIN VDE 0530. Based on its housing design, it supports cooling by natural convection and surface cooling and can be operated under adverse environmental conditions.
