Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a recognized supplier of drive and motion control products with excellent quality and impressive features. It is the creator of the powerful MDD synchronous servo motors, which form cost-effective rapid-response automation systems when combined with the digital drive controllers from Indramat.
The MDD090C-N-020-N2M-130PB1 is a servo motor of the MDD series with a sealed housing designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. This housing belongs to the IP 65 protection class in line with DIN 40050, as it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jet sprays. It is also covered with a black prime coat that is resistant to chalky buildup, yellowing, weathering, and lyes. The motor’s nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, while its theoretical maximum torque is 58.6Nm. It belongs to Balance Class R per DIN VDE 0530; hence, it can be used for demanding applications like grinding machines. Its compact build promotes its simple installation and gives it a high power-to-weight ratio. It can also be installed in any position as desired by users.
Natural convection and surface cooling are the designated methods of heat elimination for the MDD090C-N-020-N2M-130PB1. It also has a thermal sensor integrated into its stator windings to monitor its temperature and prevent irreversible damage by thermal overload. Like other MDD servo motors, it has a brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. Its rotor is composed of permanent magnets made from quality materials so that it has low inertia and a favorable torque-inertia ratio for high dynamics. The motor’s centering diameter is 130mm, and it has an output shaft with a keyway per DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring.
