The MDD090C-N-020-N2M-110GB2 is a new generation electrical motor designed by Rexroth Indramat to operate in combination with a compatible drive controller and operate as a cost-effective source of kinetic energy for production and processing machines. This industrial motor is well suited for use in tool, textile, printing, and robotic machines. The motor operates with high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, it can maintain this operational accuracy over a broad speed range. The enclosure of this industrial motor provides protection against penetration by extrinsic objects and the penetration of water, this high protection allows the motor to maintain its operational efficiency even when they are applied in industrial conditions considered too harsh for convectional industrial machines.
The MDD090C-N-020-N2M-110GB2 electrical motor features a plain output shaft through which it carries out backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque generated by the motor, clamping belts, pressure sleeves, or similar clamping components can be used for coupling the output shaft to pinons, belt pullies, or any other similar industrial machine components. The output shaft also features a shaft sealing ring that ensures that no liquids can penetrate into the motor housing through the output shaft, this sealing ring is very important in operational conditions where dirt or water jets can be present.
The MDD090C-N-020-N2M-110GB2 electrical motor connects to the drive controller through a power cable and the motor feedback cable, these two cables enter into the housing of the motor through special electrical connectors which preserve the high protection standards of the motor. To prevent electrical interference, the power cable and the motor feedback cable enter the motor through a special connector and must be wired separately.
